I traveled long before I became a holistic health coach. My journey started in Istanbul, Turkey where I was born and grew up.
In college I studied psychology and sociology at the Bosphorus University in Istanbul. My studies continued in different subjects after that. First, I completed a 200 hour yoga teacher’s training in 2008. The experience of practicing and teaching yoga helped me to find my real passion in life.
I want to guide people into fulfilling their physical and spiritual wellness potential. I followed this passion and furthered my education at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to become a holistic health coach. In 2010, I started my practice, Yasemin Agazat Health and Wellness. I recently finished my birth doula training (DONA) with Debra Pascali-Bonaro and prenatal yoga teacher training with Mia Borgatta. I am certified by AADP (American Assosciation of Drugless Practitioners) and I am a member of DONA (Doulas of North America).
I believe in every person’s unique individuality and the integrity of the body, mind and spirit connection in the path to wellness. In supporting you as a clients, I use a combination of all my acquired knowledge along with my natural gifts of listening and offering insight during your journey to a balanced and healthier life.
I practice in New York and Istanbul and have clients from all over the world. I conduct my health coaching sessions over the phone or by Skype.
